CHUCK WAGON TRANSPORT - We are in need of a parent to transport the chuck wagon from the regatta to the high school.

After the tent and food equipment is loaded, a parent with a SUV/truck with a hitch will transport the chuck wagon back to the HS. ATTENTION PARENTS

We are in need of 4 volunteers to work the docks on Sunday's 4th Manny Flick as is our requirement to participate in PSRA.  The job entails marshaling the boats into the docks upon completion of their races or before their races..  It's a great way to get an upfront look of the rowers and the races.  It is a fun job.  Please contact Katie Saladucha to volunteer at [email protected].  If we do not have 4 volunteers signed up by Thursday, we will assign the duty to parents who have yet to volunteer this season.

PASTA PARTY - SAT. APRIL 14th

Our first Pasta Party was a great success, thank you to all that donated.

This week the Pasta Dinner will be Saturday, April 14th at the Hida's house located at 373 Shelbourne Terrace starting at 6:00.

WE NEED TWO MORE PASTA DONATIONS!!  These kids can eat and we do not want to run out of food.

As a reminder, the following families have signed up for this pasta party and we are depending on your donation.  

Drinks:  Wong, Aherne, Vij, Lepis

Salad w/dressing:  Saladucha, Aherne

Bread w/Butter (sliced pls):  Walton Roth, Thomas

Thanks to all for making this team building dinner a success for the rowers.  Please sign up for donations if you haven't done so already. Many families are done with this commitment.

TENT SIGN UP

 As you all know, many hands make light work. We are hoping we can count on every family to volunteer at least once to help out with the tent. We have 50 rowers this year so including parents we can be feeding 120+ people each race.

This coming week we will serving breakfast along with a "Chipotle" style food bar for lunch with shredded chicken, beef, beans and grilled veggies to create your own salad/burrito or quesadilla. This year we are asking parents to provide as much yummy, homemade food as possible to offer our rowers the best quality and nutritional food. If you have a favorite family recipe, bring it! :) Sign-ups are ready on InstaTeam - go to events, filter by regatta and click on 4th Manny Flick.

Kilwin's Candy Fundraiser

Sale Dates: April 7-15

Delivery Dates: May 7-11 and June 11-15

Order forms for the Kilwin's fund raiser were handed out to all the kids. It's a Mother's day and Father's day chocolate sale.  There are 4 types of chocolates that can be ordered.  We are asking all the kids to sell at least 4 boxes. 

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 sellers; $100 to the person that sells the most, $50 for second most and $25 for third most. 
Please have the kids sell to family, friends and neighbors.  They can canvas the neighborhood with a partner and the kids should wear their Ridgewood crew gear when they go out to sell. 

Cash and checks are accepted.  Checks should be made out to Ridgewood Crew.  Order forms need to be handed in by April 13.

There was a conflict on the previous date, so we have changed the banquet to Wednesday, May 30. Details to follow.

FUNDRAISING !!

Rowathon Monies Dues by 4/15.   Still time to be the top Fundraiser!!


THANK YOU ALL for the great effort so far!!!  We have raised over $15,000 towards our goal of $25,000 for the event.

We have extended the due date until Sunday 4/15.  Many of the rowers have still not handed in their fundraising monies and paperwork.

Each rower is expected to raise a min. of $300.


Prizes for the top sellers that have raised over $1,500 recieves a $600 Gift Card, 2nd Place will receive a $400 gift card and 3rd place will receive a $200 Gift Card.  Top sellers will be announced on Monday 4/16.

REVISED SPRING SCHEDULE

Please Note:

  • We will start with this new schedule on Friday, April 13th. There is no practice this Thursday, April 12th
  • Bus pick up this Friday, April 13th will be at Brookside - not outside gym
  •  Last land practice for the returning rowers will be on April 24th.
  •  This schedule will be reviewed for May.
