Honoring Women and Spreading Awareness - This Women’s History Month, DBSA is sharing the stories of important women in our community, beginning with our co-founder Rose Kurland. As we celebrate and uplift these incredible women, we also recognize the disparities and challenges women face when it comes to mental health. In addition, March 30th is World Bipolar Day. We have gathered resources and toolkits to help you as we move through the month.

Tips for Addressing Your Mood Disorder
One of the topics that is frequently discussed at our DBSA support group meetings is employment. How do I address my mood disorder at work? Should I tell my supervisor/co-workers about my condition? What accommodations are available to me? What are the options when I apply for a position?
DBSA National has addressed many of these concerns on their website - https://www.dbsalliance.org/lifestyle/work/ - check it out for more information.
