ITAT Students attended a multicultural First Gen conference in Salt Lake.
This April, our ITAT students apart of West Jordan High School's POP (People of the Pacific) class attended a Multicultural First Gen conference in Salt Lake City. They were able to network with other students who are the first in their family to go to college, some even high school. Our ITAT students were able to host a workshop at the event to share about POP and ITAT. They taught about vaping and had important discussions with other students about the negative impacts of smoking. Our students also had the opportunity to perform a number at the conference of the 20 schools in attendance. We're so proud of them!
