district news

We must all work together to slow the spread.

What can you do?

  1. Get vaccinated and boosted as soon as it is your turn and submit verification to Nurse Abbe.

  2. Always wear a high-quality, well-fitting mask when outside your home.

  3. Limit unnecessary gathering (yes, that means we need to rethink our winter social calendars).

  4. Enroll your child in weekly PCR testing with Worksite Labs if they are not already.  https://forms.worksitelabs.com/212656685977980

  5. KEEP your child AT HOME when he/she/they are experiencing any symptoms (don’t assume it is a cold; assume it is COVID until you test).

CMS Spring Play: "A Midsummer Night's Dream"

Our spring play for 2022 will be our interpretation of Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream". It's a great show full of magic, laughter, romance, and all kinds of shenanigans. Ms. Green will be co-directing the show with Jessica Bennett from the Portola Valley Theatre Conservatory. The show will be presented in our outdoor amphitheater here at CMS in April.

We would love to have CMS students join us as part of our cast of actors, or part of our tech crew working behind the scenes! Rehearsals and tech workdays will take place after school on campus.

Sign up forms are due by the end of the semester, Friday, January 21 (all paperwork and fees must be turned in by Monday, January 24).

For more information: Contact Ms. Green at [email protected]

CMS Parent Coffee: Wednesday, February 2nd at 9:00am

The next CMS Parent Coffee will be on Wednesday, February 2nd. Due to the recent COVID surge, this will be a virtual meeting.

The focus will be on navigating the changing digital landscape with your child- especially during a Pandemic- and how to best support your child moving forward with regards to technology.

Ms. Shima is inviting My DigitalTat2 back to work with parents and students. The presentation at this Parent Coffee will discuss how the Pandemic has changed young people's digital lives and strategies for parents.
