Provo ITAT Hosts Leadership Training

This month, our island teens at Provo hosted the quarterly ITAT leadership training. Their focus was unity building within individual clubs and schools so that they can better advocate for healthy choices and educate about the dangers of vape use. The guest speaker from the Utah DOH, Sarah, spoke to the ITAT students on the dangers and negative effects of tobacco and vape use. The leadership training ended with lunch and bowling at BYU.

Multicultural Youth Leadership Day

ITAT has been busy at the capital this month. Our Island teens from Bingham and Provo High School took a visit to the capital where they had a leadership training and conversed with their legislators pictured below, Rep. Norma Thurston and Rep. Marsha Judkins.
