How can we best assure that our children will carry on the legacy of faith? In the midst of spilled milk, public tantrums, defiant responses and testing, we can be left wondering if any of our instruction is seeping into the children in our care. Parenting is messy. Society judges us. We question ourselves Each child is different. Take heart – God chose YOU as the perfect fit for the children in your care. Studies show that parents are the most influential people in the faith formation of children. The good news is that we are NOT alone and that it’s not all on our shoulders. This is both exciting and terrifying!
What if we could approach our parenting with specific intention of weaving faith into our everyday lives, even amongst the milk, tantrums and testing? Join us for our adult education class, Dear Parent, beginning January 5th each Sunday at 9:15am. During this time each week, we will review a VERY SHORT chapter together as we encourage you as you help your children to
· Find their place in God’s family
· Know God’s story
· Live in hope
· Discover their calling
This class is for anyone who has an interest or passion for faith formation in our youngest people. We welcome parents, grandparents and those with this passion to engage in conversations, questions, and exploration of how we can encourage the faith of those children in our presence and encourage and support those who are in the thick of parenting themselves.

This study will explore the book of Proverbs through the lens of the Cardinal Virtues. Participants will gain a better understanding of the Bible's wisdom literature while addressing such questions as:
- Which virtues are most important?
- Can virtue be taught?
- How should we read and respond to Proverbs?
- How does the gospel change all of this?
There are no materials to purchase for this class. Reading materials will be distributed digitally and in hard copy, though there will be no mandatory reading between classes. For questions, contact Brian Daskam: [email protected].
