Dear Ridgewood Crew Families and Local Supporters,

The Fundraising Committee is asking for the support of our Ridgewood Crew families with our Silent Auction at our upcoming Fall Social on November 5th at 7PM.

This is a great opportunity to connect with crew families and raise money for our team.

There are several ways to donate and help make the night a success:

Contribute to your Grade Level Basket: Please consider donating an item to your grade’s themed basket. (See assigned baskets below) If you’d prefer to donate cash to purchase items, any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Consider donating a bottle of wine (approx $20 value) for a wine pull

Perhaps you are a business owner, have a connection to secure a donation or have a great idea? We would love to accept any donation (services, items, giftcards) and are open to all ideas!

If you have questions regarding donations, please feel free to contact

Leia Scharfenberg at 703-300-0303. Please clearly label and drop off all donations

by 10/25 at the Riedel home, 433 Red Birch Court. You can drop gift cards/money donations in the mailbox and larger items in the bin on the front porch or feel free to ring the doorbell for a personal hand off. If you'd like to arrange a time to drop off donations, please text Gabi Riedel at 201-835-2732.

We are looking forward to a great evening. Tickets to this event are open to all and we’d love for you to extend this invitation to your friends and family.

50-50 Raffle Fundraiser

One of our annual fundraisers, the 50-50 raffle, is just around the corner. As a preview, each rower will be given a booklet of 15 tickets for their parents to sell (those under 18 are not legally allowed to sell them). Tickets are $10 each and on December 15th we’ll announce the lucky winner, who will get half of all the money raised! I will be distributing tickets to rowers around the end of the month and collecting monies, stubs, and unsold tickets by December 4th. There will be a prize for the family that sells the most tickets. More information and full instructions to come soon, but if you have any questions now don’t hesitate to reach out to me at [email protected]. Thanks, Brittin Clark

Matched Gifting

When making donations to Ridgewood Crew, check with your employer if they offer matched gifting, this is an easy way you can double your donations to Crew.  Sometimes employers make donations in lieu of you volunteering hours to help at our club events.

All donations are tax free, we will provide you with a letter for the tax man.

Name a boat opportunities are available, we have new single boats plus some quads which are in need of a name.  Contact us if you are interested.
