In our March newsletter, we asked our members and key stakeholders in the HIV sector to nominate topics to form the program for HIV & Wellness Workshop.


The topic nominated are:

4. Chemsex - medication adherence, higher risks of infection, harm minimization tactics vs abstinence

Applications are open for the Far North Queensland RN Conference Scholarship & the SHSQ Conference Scholarship 


SHSQ will provide 5 scholarships for full registrations ($330.00) to attend the virtual Australasian Sexual Health and HIV&AIDS Conferences from 6th to 9th September 2021. For further information visit our website. You must be a Far North Queensland Registered Nurse to be considered.

New Look for the 12th Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference


The Australasian Viral Hepatitis Conference is a multi-day conference for the dissemination and presentation of new and innovative research findings and better management across the Australasian viral hepatitis sector. Through this forum, the event will the health workforce, government and community to work towards the elimination of hepatitis B and hepatitis C and support the communities living with these conditions in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia and Pacific regions.

To be COVID-Safe, the conference will have an innovate format, presented through hubs in Brisbane on Sunday 30th of May at Sofitel Central and Sydney on Monday 31st May and Tuesday 1st June at Masonic Centre.  Day rates are available. For further information visit the conference website​​.
