OTHER NEWS ON THE RANCH

SENIOR FEED DRIVE

We are kicking off a Senior Feed Drive to help our horses heading into winter! We have taken in many more skinny horses this year than in years prior, and have been feeding Senior in record quantities. Senior feed is a key part of our refeed program, and can get quite pricey when you’re feeding as many horses as we are!

We’d greatly appreciate your support in helping us get our rescue horses to a good weight. Parker Feed is able to accept Purina Senior feed donations for us, and you’re also more than welcome to drop feed off at the rescue! You can also reach Parker Feed at (303) 841-3955.

MONTY MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

YOUR ALL AROUND HORSE - MR MILES

DHOH Miles is a 15 year old, 15.3 hand grade gelding that is best suited for an Adv. Beginner on up rider! He’s an #AnnieProject graduate from C Lazy U Ranch where he was a beloved wrangler and guest horse for teenagers. The Rocky Mountains were a little too hard on him, but with flatter, softer ground and daily equioxx, we’ve seen a great improvement in his soundness! A tried and true trail horse, Miles is ready for some wonderful new miles with his forever home! His adoption fee is $1300 to a wonderful home.

COVID-19 EQUINE ASSISTANCE

In an effort to help our neighbors through what we hope to be a temporary challenge, we are still running our emergency hay and feed bank. The funds we have raised and continue to raise go directly to the purchase of feed and hay which we provide to folks who are struggling to care for their equines in Colorado.
