The Forests of a Desert Land: Our planet’s most ancient desert calls Namibia its home. Far removed from the mighty sea of sand, there are luscious forests withstanding the arid land. But these forests are under attack. Told through the eyes of a school girl, a marathon runner and an old farmer, these stories remind us that life in a desert land requires the shadow of a tree. 

OUR ACTORS AWARDED INTERNATIONALLY

The leading cast from #LANDoftheBRAVEfilm, Elize who played Meisie Willemse and Armas who filled the shoes of Shivute, received recognition at two separate international award ceremonies in Paris and Burkina Faso respectively. Particularly their gritty and nuanced performances were praised by the juries of the events.

Created during the challenging times our world has experienced since 2020, our documentary web series Walking Forward​ tells stories of hope and resilience in a pandemic. The two seasons represented our country at prestigious festivals through December last year. Audiences from as far as Los Angeles, Atlanta and Chicago were mesmerized by the many parallels to their very own experiences of the global health crisis.
