Scholastic book fair march 4-11; ormondale mur
The Scholastic Book Fair is back and will be held at Ormondale Friday, March 4 - Friday, March 11. Proceeds from the Book Fair support both schools’ libraries. Students and families will have lots of opportunities to shop!
Ormondale students will have a chance to shop during their recess and lunch each day. If you would like to sign your student up for eWallet, which is the fair's digital payment system, please visit the book fair website to register.
Families and CMS students are invited (and encouraged) to shop during the times noted below. When you are shopping, please consider supporting your teachers’ classrooms by purchasing books from their wishlists. You will see the book bins prominently displayed near the checkout area. You can also shop online in our Virtual Fair, which can be found on the book fair website.

pvsd giants outing Sunday, april 10th
Kick off the Giants' season by joining your Portola Valley School Community for a fun day of baseball at Oracle Park Sunday, April 10th, when the San Francisco Giants face off against the Miami Marlins at 1:05 PM. A special section has been reserved on Giants' opening weekend for the families and faculty of PVSD – including Ormondale, Corte Madera and the school district offices.

Book Fair Family Night; Tuesday March 8, 4:00-7:00, Ormondale MUR & Courtyard
Finally! The Book Fair is back in town! This evening event is a chance to shop the Book Fair, visit with fellow families and grab some dinner! The Grill Zillas food truck will be on site selling dinner options for the family. Our own local author, 2nd grade and TK mom, Erin Gleeson will be previewing her newest delicious and beautiful cookbook, The Forest Feast Road Trip. And of course the Book Fair will be open for shopping. We hope you can stop by for this fun family event! Proceeds from the Book Fair directly benefit our schools’ libraries.

literacy library need volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help organize and digitize the Literacy Library over the next several weeks. The Literacy Library is the collection of books sorted by reading level that students select for their book bags. CMS Night at the Book Fair; Wednesday March 9, 4:00-6:00, Ormondale MUR
Please stop by the PTO sponsored PVSD Book Fair on Wednesday, 3/9 from 4:00-6:00pm. The PVSD Book Fair will have books for all ages, and Wednesday is specifically targeted for CMS students!
Our 8th grade Student Council will be over at Ormondale selling pizza, drinks, candy, chips- so please stop by Wednesday evening and support the PTO and our school libraries.

Order your child’s CMS 2021-22 yearbook by going to the Yearbook Order Center (school code 7530). You can order yearbooks, design dedications (called "Ads"), or upload photos (click the "Share images with ESHARE" button) for possible inclusion in the yearbook. Note: starting January 15 Herff Jones will be placing a $3.99 surcharge on all new online CMS Yearbook orders.
