Do you believe there is joy in learning?

Do you believe that children learn from one another through work and play?

Do you believe that schools should include families in a child’s learning environment?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we invite you to visit our cooperative preschool in Sayulita through the photos we have included here. You will see how joyful the children are while they are working and playing. You will also see how involved their parents are at the school as they bring food every day, clean the classroom and maintain the grounds. This is all in addition to their own heavy workloads.

We recently moved to a new location in Sayulita due to a very generous donor. You will see that the children now have space to run and create collaborative, playful activities outside.  While inside, they are continuing to discover the joy in math, music, art, language, and yoga.

Today was hand painting day where the children and their parents officially inaugurated the new building with their painted hands. Bryon even included a pawprint from his dog! We walked away filled with a joy that comes from the unbridled enthusiasm and excitement of young children learning together.
