Seeking for Parcel Tax Oversight Committee Members

In May 2021, the District renewed its annual parcel tax via ballot Measure S. One important provision of the ballot language calls for the establishment of an independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee. The District plans to seat seven (7) members on this committee. Members will include PVSD staff, parents, and community members.

What is the time commitment? The committee will meet for about an hour, once a year. Committee members typically spend additional time reviewing materials prior to the meeting. One or more committee members will present the annual report to the Governing Board.

The purpose of the Committee is to ensure that the District is spending the Measure S funds per the ballot measure language.

If you are interested to serve on this important committee, please complete the application by February 7, 2022, and email it to Connie Ngo at [email protected]. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
