A Reunion Like No Other!

The First Class Reunion Ever at JFKHS

The Class of 1971 will host the first Reunion Banquet at our old JFK High School on Saturday, September 17. A whole weekend of events are planned, including a Friday afternoon Meet & Greet at JFKHS, a Friday evening Welcome Dinner at the Golden Dawn Diner, a Saturday morning tennis tournament in memory of art teacher George Adams, an all-day party at JFKHS on Saturday (starting at 1 pm), and on Sunday a picnic in Willingboro's Mill Creek Park. Reunion Events

The event will be a record-breaker. More alumni are coming than any other reunion in the past! Also, since the event is at our old high school and because so many of our teachers are attending the Reunion Banquet, it would be unfair of us not to open the event to all JFK graduates. Football players are coming to huddle with beloved Coach Luttrell. Here's your chance to tour the building and to see the marvelous renovations undertaken when the school was converted into Willingboro's recreation center.

Notice to the Classes of 1965-69

We graciously thank Kathy Lucas Merhar, your Multi-Year Reunion Coordinator, for this ONE-TIME use of her alumni database for our newsletter. Since our Reunion is the first at Kennedy HS, we invite you to join us in the festivities. Also, we could use your help in finding missing classmates who may be your younger siblings. Please understand that none of your contact info is made public, and will be automatically deleted from our database when you receive this email. Should you wish to continue receiving our newsletters, please subscribe (see link at the bottom of this newsletter). Also, there will be a 1965-69 Multi-Year Class Reunion September 23, 2017 at The Palace in Blackwood, NJ (the hall and DJ are already contracted).

15 Teachers Coming to Reunion Banquet

And there probably will be even more!

We established a special fund with  voluntary donations to subsidize the cost of inviting JFKHS staff to the Reunion. You may make a donation as you purchase your tickets. Click the link (at right) to see who is attending the Reunion Banquet.

We will have over a dozen different entrees from the consensus best caterer! You can choose your favorites from a selection of over 70 options. (No matter the vote totals, there will be tasty options for folks with restricted diets.)

We also have obtained an alcohol permit. Wine and beer will be served with special tickets purchased at the event.

Time is Running Out

Last chance to find missing alumni. After 45 years, a noble endeavor to find all classmates has proven very difficult. Our Alumni Search Team has done a fabulous job attempting to contact everyone, but there are many we have yet to reach. (The Class of 1971 had 710 graduates.) The link below takes you to our "Missing Alumni" webpage. If you know the whereabouts of anyone listed, please fill out the form. We understand if people do not wish to come, but everyone should have a chance to know about the Class of 1971 Reunion and make their own decision.
