Professor Martin Seligman, one of the world's leading researchers in positive psychology and human flourishing, suggests that "wellbeing is cultivated by the presence in our lives of positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning and accomplishment". This framework is often referred to as PERMA. More recently, the 'H' was added to include Health. Just like muscle groups, or areas of fitness, these domains of wellbeing can be tested, targeted and developed through the practice of ongoing ‘Positive Interventions’. How much you’ll need of each will vary depending on the type of person you are, the situations you’re in, and the outcomes you want to achieve. There is no single recipe for wellbeing. The right plan looks different for each of us. Save the Date - Friday 1st September! We have a very special evening planned for Friday 1st September. We can't say too much more at this stage, but put it in your diary as this is one you won't want to miss.
