We had a blast making our own unique fairy houses in the upper elementary camp group last week! Our campers collected pieces of nature to build their own fairy houses, and they ended up creating an entire collaborative fairy village by the end of the week. Pictured: Amara, 9 working on her elaborate fairy home. This was one of many super creative, whimsical art projects we did last week in our elementary camp groups. It was heartwarming to welcome so many families and community members to our end of the week art show last Friday to see all the children's art displayed! Celebrating the WDRC’s 30th Year To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center our students participated in an collaborative public art installation to reflect on what peace means to them. Our students and 9 other local artists painted benches with their own interpretations of peace and placed them throughout Whatcom County. Explore the interactive map to see where each bench is.
