SPIRIT WEEK AT ORMONDALE
This week will be our last Spirit Week of the 2018-19 school year. The Student Council has planned the following Spirit Days for our students and staff:
Monday, 6/3 - Tie Dye Day
Tuesday, 6/4 - Class Color Day (dress in your assigned color)*
Wednesday, 6/5 - Sports Day (also our Field Day)
Thursday, 6/6 - Hawaiian Day
Friday, 6/7 - Bring your Stuffy to School Day
* These are the class colors: Andrighetto - RED, Castillo - LIGHT BLUE, Clark - WHITE, Martinez - BROWN, Trefero - GRAY, Bloom-Smith - BLACK, Pellegrini - MAROON, Grech - PINK, Wong- YELLOW, Bouman - PURPLE, Rickert - GREEN, Frederick - ORANGE, Woolfe - DARK BLUE
Classes with the most participation each day will get a special Spirit Award from the Head Cheerleader.

Thank you to Jennifer Arends for making sure all the ORM & District staff had a lovely birthday greeting on their special day. All our staff truly appreciate the gift of love on their birthday.
Thank you to Daphne Melendez for putting together the 3rd grade memory books. It’s a wonderful way to send off our rising 4th graders to remember their days at Ormondale.
And thank you to Lori Palazzolo for organizing copying for our teachers. Your work throughout this year and the many year’s past has made a tremendous difference to ORM teachers and students!

Another BIG thank you to Veronica Jerng, who managed the hot lunch program for the THIRD YEAR in a row. This is an important year long responsibility and we so appreciate your commitment!
A special thank you also to the always lovely Ashlie Contos and Irene Delgado who handle the daily flurry with such grace and smiles. The students and parents love the chance to interact with you each day.

AYSO Early Bird Registration is Now Open for the Fall Season
Youth Soccer registration is now open! Until June 15th you can register early and save $40.
We have divisions for 4 year olds, and divisions up to the age 18 (provided there is interest). We are also very welcoming to volunteers wanting to coach or referee alongside their kids, so please consider signing up as a volunteer. We will provide all the training you need. Our core program is recreational, designed for kids learning to play the game, honing their skills through practices and game play for which they are guaranteed at least 50% playing time. Practices are on local fields and most games are played at Ormondale and Corte Madera School. With all the rain and care, the fields look great, it should be an excellent season!

Mr. Daniel’s Spectacular Summer Writing Camp
This class is an inspiring, fun- spirited, and productive experience, as middle school age students have the chance to express and organize their personal ideas in written form, under the instruction of Priory’s sixth grade Humanities teacher.
This summer’s theme is: Change-Makers. The writing topics and teaching approach are differentiated for individual skill/grade level, and personal interests of each student. There will be a range of descriptive, informational, persuasive and creative topics to complete during the week. Students can expect healthy snacks and interactive games during each break. Location: Woodside Priory School. Weeks available: June 17-21 and/or July 29-Aug 2
Times: 9:00 AM to Noon each day
, Cost: $450 dollars for the week-long session

Alpine Strikers Fall Programs
Is your child excited about soccer and wants to play in the fall? Alpine Strikers FC is the local soccer club and we offer preschool and kindergarten/first grade soccer programs coached by our professionally coaching staff. Registration is now open.
