We are excited to announce our winners from the Campbell River "Spark" Finalists Pitch Session held at the end of April:

Campbell River "Spark" Program:

2nd Round Peterborough & the Kawarthas "Spark" Winners Announced

The second round of the Peterborough & the Kawarthas "Spark" Program culminated in a fantastic pitch session on May 2nd, and we are pleased to announce our 3 new winners:

  • Connor McIlveen & Glyne Pease, Shamrock Acres (Rustic farm venue/event space)
  • Katie Jackson, Wanderlight Alpaca Experience (Mystery agritourism and culinary experience)
  • Scott Williams, Wildflower Bakery (Sourdough bread-making workshops)

Hackforge and the Tourism Innovation Lab are Rainbow Registered!

We are very proud to announce that Hackforge, the parent organization of the Tourism Innovation Lab, is Rainbow Registered! 

Rainbow Registered is a national accreditation for LGBT+ friendly businesses and organizations recently launched by Canada's LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC) and Tourism HR Canada. When you see a Rainbow Registered symbol, you know the business or organization meets a stringent set of standards to ensure LGBT+ customers feel safe, welcomed, and accepted.
