Fall is a great time for golf!

Bob Hope once said "If you watch a game, it's fun. If you play at it, it's recreation. If you work at it, it's golf."  If you are ready for some "fun work", we invite you to join us at our 11th annual Golf Tournament coming up on Saturday, October 19, 2019.  

This fundraiser is important for us so we invite all skill levels to participate.  You can build your own team or we can match you up with a foursome.  If you are not a golfer we have Hole Sponsorships available so you can help us in our fundraising effort, or you can participate with us by helping at the course the day of the tournament.

Our guest speaker will be the new game warden for Llano County, Kagan Gould.  He will be speaking about new or changed fish & game laws and take any questions you may have.  Come out and meet our new neighbor.  We think he is going to be good for Llano county.

If you didn't make it to our fish fry this past  Labor Day weekend you missed a good one.

We had a lot of good USA, fried to perfection, catfish and fixins.  Thank you Larry Boyd & crew!

We had a lot of good friends and neighbors who showed up to make the evening a big success.  Thanks to all of you!

We had good support from neighboring businesses and individuals that donated to a very successful silent auction.  Thank you donors and George Bold!

And of course many good members showed up to insure we were setup, stocked, ready to serve the goodies, and then cleaned up afterward. Thanks to all who lent a hand!

And as is custom, we concluded our annual three gun raffle by drawing the winning names. Congratulations to the three winners and thanks to the members helping us sell the chances!

So now that we have reminded you what took place if you were there, or what you missed if you weren't...................

"What happened to the dock at Llano County Park."

We are investigating a way to replace the dock with a permanent structure that can withstand the wind and wave activity during storms.  We are open to any reasonable and financially possible solutions.  Any of you engineers out there that would like to work with us on a solution will be welcome.
