2020 was a year fraught with challenges that often made it hard to see more than a few days ahead. With an eye towards the future, we asked you to think about some of the major changes you've made this year as you consider what to keep and what to return to in the next "new" normal.

Most common was the use of campus space, followed by changes to budgeting, scheduling and calendars. Most importantly, the responses show that everything was on the table this year, including things never before considered possible. We hope this idea of embracing change persists long into the future.

Whatever school looks like when the COVID-19 pandemic ends, needs to be different from what it looked like before schools closed in March. As you consider how to balance the “old” normal with the next “new” normal, it's critical to remember that the past nine months have given us insights and tools to better serve our schools and students. Let’s be sure we take those with us into the future.
