Started in 2009, Growing Up Boulder is one of the most comprehensive child-friendly city initiatives in the United States. Our programming has inspired municipal leaders, educators and community advocates around the world. And thanks to you - our partners, local parents, and most importantly, Boulder's children and youth - we have been able to engage with nearly 6,000 kids from all backgrounds to ensure inclusion in matters of city planning, education, sustainability, social justice and human rights.
Like many other non-profit programs, we are experiencing COVID-19 related budget cuts and rely on our community of Growing Up Boulder fans more than ever. Donate today to benefit our dedicated team of program facilitators and to help provide community resources that empower the next generation of bold leaders and change makers!

Growing Up Boulder just wrapped up multiple spring engagements that emphasize the importance of child and youth leadership opportunities-- from North Boulder Library Branch design sessions to youth asking Boulder City Council their most pressing COVID-19 questions. This summer, we will continue to extend our online resources, so check back for meaningful engagements for the whole family that shape the community we live in. | |
