November 4th – December 16th:

  • The Holiness of God (6-week study) Led by Lee Barclay
    • In many of our worship songs we praise a God who is "holy, holy, holy," but do we really have more than a vague idea of what those words mean?  In this six-session DVD teaching series, Dr. R.C. Sproul, the founder of Ligonier Ministries, examines the meaning of holiness and why people are both fascinated and terrified by a holy God.  This series closely explores God's character, leading to new insights on sin, justice, and grace.  The result is a new awareness of our dependence upon God's mercy and a discovery of his majestic holiness.  The holiness of God affects every aspect of our lives--economics, politics, athletics, romance--everything with which we are involved.  In each session we will watch the DVD and have time for discussion.  This is a series not to be missed!  When we truly understand God's holiness, our lives are changed.
  • Technology: Is it getting between God and us? (6-week study) – Led by Chris and Mary Pilon
    • When some of us were children, technology consisted of mainly radio and television.  In later generations, we saw video games, personal cassette players, and calculator watches.  But, what does technology look like today?  In the past twenty-five years, we’ve seen advancements in every area of technology that have greatly changed our lives – sometimes in amazingly positive ways.  Over time, though, many of us have seen how this new technology - including personal computers, the Internet, Social Media, and Smartphones - have oftentimes taken us away from living a life guided by Biblical principles and fully submitting our life to Christ.  In this six week class, we will take a look at a variety of resources and studies regarding today’s technology and its impact on our spirituality including technology’s positive use, adult modeling for our children, security, privacy, our use of time, and addiction all through the lens of scripture.  Whether you’re a grandparent trying to stay up to date on current technology or a parent trying to navigate both you and your children’s use of smart phones and Social Media, there will be plenty of time for discussion and questions.  We hope you’ll join us and share your thoughts and experiences!
