Looking towards the Future

Today I am grateful for all of the mothers, mother figures, and caregivers whose love and labor keeps us going. The past months have shown us just how essential they are to our communities.
I also celebrate the class of 2020 as they graduate and move into the next phase of their lives. Their knowledge and energy will be necessary as we start to rebuild our world.
Reflecting on these groups, I am filled with hope for our collective future, a future where care and love is available to all.
