The life science sector is currently experiencing significant changes with the introduction of legislation that will change the way it works. The new Medical Device Regulations, The Falsified Medicines Directive, the introduction of mandatory electronic publishing of submissions and other initiatives are changing the way that the industry works. Furthermore, the uncertainty associated with Brexit means that, for many, the future is somewhat less than clear. On May 29th experts from the globally trading consultancy firm Acorn Regulatory will outline the issues that will impact most of the County Tipperary life science sector. The lunchtime session will seek to inform attendees about the upcoming changes and how they will impact on their businesses. Also, members of staff from Acorn Regulatory’s specialist divisions will be on hand to answer any questions that you might have after the presentations.

- Merrys Irish Cream Liqueur has been awarded top honours, as the ‘World’s Best Cream Liqueur’ as well as ‘Best Irish Cream Liqueur’. - Merrys White Chocolate Irish Cream Liqueur has also been awarded ‘Best Irish Chocolate Liqueur’ at the World Drinks Awards.
Having first produced Merrys Irish Cream Liqueur in 1994, Master Blender, Don Crowley has been perfecting his award-winning cream liqueur recipe for the last 25 years. Don Crowley, General Manager and Master Blender, says: “Whilst we owe a lot of our success over the last 25 years to the craftsmanship and passion of the team of people who are working here in Clonmel to produce Merrys, there is no doubt that, above all, it is the quality of our ingredients and the freshness of our rich Irish dairy cream that makes Merrys so special. We are lucky enough to be able to bottle cream from grass-fed cows that graze in our lush Golden Vale valley region in small batches within hours of it leaving the farm gate, and to have access to the finest aged Irish whiskey to give it that special taste profile.”
County Tipperary Chamber alongside Boston Scientific are proud to bring you a Manufacturing Excellence event in partnership with Merrys, this July 4th. Please see below for more information and to register today.
