Bass Coast Biolinks - One workshop to go Over 60 people have attended two workshops so far to map potential biolinks across Bass Coast. The last workshop is on Wednesday 29 th March on Phillip Island. READ MORE A Day on the Farm at Bimbadeen Numerous holiday activities are planned for Tuesday 8 th of April in a fun Day on the Farm Experience at the Bimbadeen property on Phillip Island. READ MORE Soilkee Demonstration Field day A Soilkee Demonstration field day will be held on the 21 st of April in Loch. Come along to see the Soilkee Renovator in action and hear from expert agronomists. READ MORE A Foray into the curious Kingdom of Fungi Delve into the fungal realms in a full day workshop with Natural History Photographer and Research Ecologist Alison Pouilot, in this sought after session on 7th May in Archies Creek. READ MORE LOCAL NEWS Successful Snake Session Last week 45 Landcare members from various groups listened to a very informative presentation covering all aspects of living with snakes in South Gippsland and what to do if bitten. Guest speaker Geoff Lockwood was an excellent speaker who knew his topic very well and he was able to answer the numerous questions from the floor. A fabulous dinner was put together by Korumburra Landcare group at the Outtrim Hall who along with other other Landcare groups from South Gippsland & Bass Coast organised the snake awareness session. A very good night was had by all. Expressions of interest sought for Grazfert Program Bass Coast Landcare Network are seeking expressions of interest to run a GrazFert Farm Nutrient Management Program in the Bass Coast Region. GrazFert is a program developed for grazing farmers by AgVIC to assist farmers with managing Nutrients on their properties. To register your interest please click here to fill out an expression of interest form and for a flyer with more information on what this great program entails. Spaces will be limited so register your interest quickly to avoid disappointment and help us bring this valuable program to Bass Coast. Bass Coast Arc - We need your help to make it a reality! The Bass Coast Arc – “Community Access to Public Space” concept was the brainchild of passionate members of our community.
