Successful Snake Session

Last week 45 Landcare members from various groups listened to a very informative presentation covering all aspects of living with snakes in South Gippsland and what to do if bitten. Guest speaker Geoff Lockwood was an excellent speaker who knew his topic very well and he was able to answer the numerous questions from the floor. A fabulous dinner was put together by Korumburra Landcare group at the Outtrim Hall who along with other other Landcare groups from South Gippsland & Bass Coast organised the snake awareness session. A very good night was had by all.

Expressions of interest sought for Grazfert Program

Bass Coast Landcare Network are seeking expressions of interest to run a GrazFert Farm Nutrient Management Program in the Bass Coast Region. 

​GrazFert is a program developed for grazing farmers by AgVIC to assist farmers with managing Nutrients on their properties. 
To register your interest please click here to fill out an expression of interest form and for a flyer with more information on what this great program entails. 
Spaces will be limited so register your interest quickly to avoid disappointment and help us bring this valuable program to Bass Coast.

Bass Coast Arc - We need your help to make it a reality!

The Bass Coast Arc – “Community Access to Public Space” concept was the brainchild of passionate members of our community. The project aims to support local community group/s to work with land managers to improve public spaces. Click here to find out how your donation will be put towards this important work.

Joel’s current role is team leader of the Sustainable Agriculture Program.   Joel also manages key agency partnerships and supports Phillip Island, French Island and 3 Creeks Landcare Groups.
