Your CCE PTO has been hard at work to help get the Cardinal Community off to a good start. Did you order your school supply kit through the CCE PTO? If so, we hope you enjoyed saving money and getting one more thing off your never ending “to do list” during this busy time of year! We have been at the Meet & Greet to start off at the school year. We enjoyed seeing the excitement on many familiar faces and a lot of new faces! CCE PTO also had the privilege to help with the Kindergarten Scavenger Hunt & Taco Lunch. Kindergarten students traveled the school with their CCE passport. This allowed our Kindergarten teachers to assess each child, while families got to explore their new school environment, and for the PTO to serve a fun “Traveling Taco” lunch for our newest additions to the Cardinal family. Nothing we do will ever be enough to show our gratitude to the CCE Staff that will be a part of our children’s lives. But we will try – to start the year off we hosted a Taco Bar lunch for the CCE staff to enjoy on Tuesday the 13 th . We are not done yet for August – but to date the most recent event the PTO hosted was the Boohoo or Yahoo Breakfast! Some of us were crying and some of us were cheering…either way it was a nice way to top off the first full week of school. Light breakfast, coffee, sharing our summer adventures, and just connecting with new and old friends. Special thanks to all those involved that made magic happen for these events and projects successful. Spirit Night Tuesday August 27th will be the first of many spirit nights. Spirit Nights are a great way for our Cardinal Community to come together, raise money for our students and enjoy a nice family outing! Join us from 5:30p to 8:30p and 20% of all purchases will be donated back to CCE! Time to Glow again; 1980’s style! Join us for our annual “Welcome Back Glow Party”! This is a fun way for our CCE families to kick back and enjoy the new school year, meet new friends, and just dance the night away. This year will be 80’s themed…so come in your RAD outfits and enjoy a night of TOTALLY AWESOME fun! Tickets will be $10 parent/child combo ($5 additional child or adult. Concessions will range $1-$5. What We Have Accomplished So Far….
Your CCE PTO has been hard at work to help get the Cardinal Community off to a good start.
