Newsletter - April 2022 A Message from Bill Yacopucci Chair of the Board of Directors... F.A.M.E. - Us! That is what happened. NH Small Business Development Corporation has accepted Franklin Gear to its Financial Accelerator Marketing Expeditor (FAME) Program! We'll spend some quality time with marketing consultants who can assist us in many ways. Who knows, after that maybe I'll be able to make better newsletters! THIS IS WHERE YOU COME IN! We've laid the groundwork, done a lot of the tedious, boring items. It's time to make stuff! You want to share your talent with others? Save the date: Saturday May 14, 2022. It is Community Day at Odell Park! From 10am to 2pm. We, along with other community organizations, have the opportunity to share our stories and skills with the community! This is our first big opportunity to interact with the community live and demonstrate what a makerspace can be! ​ Not having a home yet hasn't stopped us! We are into our second semester of woodworking and culinary afterschool programs at Franklin Middle School. Until we have our space set up, we continue to bring it to the people! So we'll start doing classes throughout the community every month on different hobbies and skills. This may be your opportunity to show off what you know - or learn a different skill from someone else. If you can make our next meeting (see below) you can interact with our board and share your ideas. ​ We'll be assembling various committees so that no one is left with too much to do. You don't have to be a board member to join a committee!
