Hello,
After a few nights of frost, the transition from Summer to Fall arrived with a blast of colours. It is now the season of preparation for winter. Harvest for the farming community is ongoing, and here at home, filling the larder and freezer with preserves adds to the 'to do list'.

This week we added a behind the scenes look at the characters in the Barn Cat Buttons Meets Princess Kylie book.
And yes, I did get those live videos done. If you missed them, they are available by following the links on the Cast of Characters page. They can also be found on our FB and IG (IGTV).
In one of those videos, I mentioned we will be announcing our next Barn Cat Buttons Series Book in the near future. We will be starting with our cover reveal here in the newsletter, next week. We are excited, to say the least!

Me?
This week was the Voice and Vision 2021 Gala. This is the sixth year I have been involved in this artisan anthology. We start in May and ends with and event in September to coincide with Alberta's Art and Cultural Days. The Gala was hosted by our local library (virtually). I will have a few copies available for order. If anyone is interested in purchasing a copy, please contact me for more information.
The Flash Fiction for this week's word prompt definitely took my mind to where it wanted to wander; and gave me lots to ponder.
And there is nothing like a little Gravel Travel to inspire a haiku.
