Hello Romantics! Paul and I are in Miami for a few days but wanted to catch you up on some cool stuff we have coming up!

September means back-to-school, all things fall, and a break in the weather after a long, hot summer. September is also my birthday month, and I remember always being excited about a new year and new opportunities. This year is a milestone birthday for me, and I find it hard to believe that I am THAT old. However, as I look back over those years, I sure have a lot to be thankful for. I hope you do too!

While on the lookout for fun merch for our website I went a little crazy and put together something you're going to love - a gift box especially for Robin Paul readers! I'm calling it our “COZY CHRISTMAS KIT," and I can't wait for you to see it! I've specially picked things that will help you relax and pamper yourself during the holiday rush.

There are only 100 boxes available this year, and email subscribers have the first opportunity to get them. Next month's newsletter will include the big video reveal when my friend Glenda and I share everything with you. Once the orders come in, Paul and I will hand-pack each box and send them on their way to you in time for Christmas.

I hope you are as excited as I am.Stay tuned for the video next month that will contain a link to purchase.

What Are We Reading?

Picture

This week's choice is mine! Paul has been immersed in books about marketing and history. We don't do that stuff here!

You know I love a good Christmas romance. I have not read anything by Sophie before, and while this book is predictable, the story kept me interested to the end. The book is about Suzie, a bookstore employee who longs to manage her own store. She gets the chance for a temporary assignment in a small town she has been to before but doesn’t really want to go back. Once she returns, her old flame Alex reappears and…. you guessed it – they get reacquainted. The story has all the tropes – Christmas village, hot cocoa, cozy bookstore, and the happily-ever-after we expect.

If you want to get in the holiday spirit and don’t want any heavy reading, this is a good one for you. There are two more books in Sophie's Old Pine Cove Series that I plan to begin reading soon. You can click on the book cover to find it on Amazon.

While we're in Miami for a few days Lucy is with our neighbors, Kathy and Jessica. She loves sleepovers, but we miss her!

Football Fans, Look at This!

Picture

Football fans in your life will love Paul's book, Missed Signals. With lots of five-star reviews, this story about life, love, loss, and football resonates with readers. Here's what Amazon has to say about it...

Big Deal, Small Town…

Dale Fox is the long-time football coach at the local junior college. People look up to him. He does commercials for the hometown car dealership in return for the use of a shiny new truck. He's a deacon at church, hosts his own radio show, and has his own table at the local diner. His wife is beautiful, his daughter is successful, his grandson is perfect.

That's the life of Coach Dale Fox.

Until the wheels fall off.

Until his wife dies unexpectedly, and he learns she was living a life he knew nothing about. Until his daughter moves home and tells him she's getting a divorce. Until the new college president starts asking questions about why the team isn't winning like it used to.

Suddenly, Coach Fox isn't such a big deal anymore. He's struggling to hold on to the only life he knows. His family is upended, his job is on the line, and his reputation is threatened.

That’s also the life of Coach Dale Fox

That's all for now. See you soon!
