Assessing Current Needs:

Several weeks ago, Pastor Mark encouraged us to think of ways we might apply David's actions at Besor (1 Samuel 30:23), such as giving to those in our congregation who are struggling financially during this time, if we’ve found ourselves with more than we need.

Have you recently lost income? Are you struggling to make ends meet? Do you know of others in our church who are in this position? Our deacons, who are called to encourage stewardship within the congregation, respond to physical needs, and develop ministries of mercy and justice, invite you to reach out to them. Alternatively, please share your needs with your care group council member when they contact you in the coming weeks.

Likewise, if you are in a position where you are financially able to give in big or small ways, be looking for an invitation to do so in the coming weeks (or mention it to a council member) as we find opportunities to care for each other during this time.

If you have not been contacted by an elder or deacon from the church, please reach out to Pastor Mark (360.357.4439). We want to stay connected during this time.
