The Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida recently put out a report entitled:

Repositioning for Strength: The Northeast Florida Nonprofit Sector and COVID-19

The report is a culmination of research done over the course of the pandemic and contains valuable information for nonprofit organizations trying to figure out the future within our new normal.

Additional CARES Act Funding now available through

North Florida Community Action Agency

 Please share this information with anyone you know who is in need of assistance. 
Up to $3,000 for electricity through 9/2021 per household
Up to $2,000 for rent/water/sewer through 9/2022 per household
The program began releasing funds this week.

Local artists hosting a national “Call to Artists.”

 This collaborative projection and sound event will be an opportunity for civic discourse and engagement – using the arts to bring people together to share ideas and create dialogue through art. This project is being spearheaded by Caitlin Flynn, Jane Griffo, Jenny K. Hager, Mal Jones, Deborah Reid, D. Lance Vickery, and Ithiell Yisrael.

This dual physical and virtual group exhibition is themed on the subject of music & sound. Any take on the theme is eligible, from visual depictions of related subject matter to more abstract interpretations of sound and sound art.

Submission deadline: August 7th.

Under the new "CARES Act," there are incentives for charitable giving to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations such as the Cultural Council.

Taxpayers who do not itemize their returns: New regulations allow a tax deduction of up to $300 for cash charitable contributions to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations during the 2020 calendar year.

Taxpayers who itemize their returns:The limit on the total percentage of Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) eligible for the charitable deduction has been lifted entirely.
