building blocks of art

These art exploration classes help kids explore the tools artists use to build works of art from line to texture and everything in between. In each session, students are introduced to one or two building blocks and a different technique inspired by the current exhibits on display. Students will then apply what they learn to create their own art.

Over 40 portraits selected from the photographer’s continuing documentary series, which reveals the distinctiveness of individuals and showcases the human spirit.
 
Cinematographer, videographer, and photographer, Palavecino has created imagery for an extensive list of television networks and production companies including:  Reuters, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, Sony Pictures, Sundance Channel, and KCET’s Departures.
