The WRRC is very excited to launch into their summer programming, with a full week summer camp, a swimming program, special events and several FREE and weekly drop-in programs! Magic show starts at 6:30 pm Kids that attend camp week get in for free! SFFCC Paddle Days Event July 28, 2018 10 am - 3 pm at Whitemouth Falls The race is on - again this year! Canoe, kayak or raft your way down the Whitemouth River from River Hills to Seven Sisters! Cash prizes - 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each event Also a prize for the best decorated raft!! 50/50 duck races - back by popular demand Kids crafts and activities Paddle Board Raffle Food Trailer Farmers Market The WRRC will be providing FREE paddle clinics. Sign-up at the event to try out a canoe, kayak or paddle board, with guided lessons from the Manitoba Paddling Association. 45 minute workshops. The WRRC is looking for community members to volunteer their time for some upcoming recreation programs and events. If you are a student, who needs to complete volunteer hours, or wanting to add volunteer experience to your resume, this is the perfect opportunity for you. The WRRC would also love to have the help from adults and seniors, interested in children's programming, arts and craft, sports, or whatever might interest you. Recreation is very diverse, we will find an area that interests you and that connects to your passion and interests. Please contact the WRRC today to get involved!
