| Senior Spotlight: Maiah C. Maiah has been dancing with Allegro for 12 years! During that time she has appeared on stage many times, but her very favorite role was playing Mr Beaver in Allegro's 2019 holiday production of The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe. Reflecting on her time here, Maiah said Allegro has taught her to push herself out of her comfort zone, to be persistent, and never give up. She has applied those skills to other areas of her life, including playing flute in the Century High School band. In the hundreds of hours Maiah has spent at the studio, she can't name just one favorite memory: "It has been all the relationships I have made with the staff and the other dancers! All the laughs in the back hallway. And student assisting for younger dancers and being a role model." It should be no surprise that Maiah's future plans include attending RCTC and Winona State University for her Masters in Education with the goal of becoming an elementary school teacher.
