Many name brand pet supplies are owned by large global corporations that have neither the health of our pets nor our planet in mind. While we may (currently) be limited in offerings for pets, what we do carry is thoughtfully and responsibly sourced with the same standards as all our other items in the market, barn, and cabin. HERBAL REMEDIES We carry a variety of organic bulk herbs that can be used for teas, but did you know you can also use herbs for your pets? Ivy Ham, a Certified Herbalist and regular customer, has a great article on her website about using herbs for dogs. Chamomile can be used to aid anxious dogs, ginger is a safe digestive aid, and parsley is packed with minerals and vitamins and can also freshen your pet's breath. It is imperative to be cautious when using herbs with dogs, and you should always start with a small amount to gauge your dog's sensitivities. SINGLE INGREDIENT DOG TREATS There are so many "natural" dog treats out there that it makes it hard to know which are a best choice for our pups.
