Scholastic book fair march 4-11; ormondale mur
The Scholastic Book Fair is back and will be held at Ormondale Friday, March 4 - Friday, March 11. Proceeds from the Book Fair support both schools’ libraries. Students and families will have lots of opportunities to shop!
Ormondale students will have a chance to shop during their recess and lunch each day. If you would like to sign your student up for eWallet, which is the fair's digital payment system, please visit the book fair website to register.
Families and CMS students are invited (and encouraged) to shop during the times noted below. When you are shopping, please consider supporting your teachers’ classrooms by purchasing books from their wishlists. You will see the book bins prominently displayed near the checkout area. You can also shop online in our Virtual Fair, which can be found on the book fair website.

Saturday, March 5, 9-11 am: Bagels and Books! Start your Saturday with a little breakfast and some book shopping; all families welcome

pvsd giants outing Sunday, april 10th
Kick off the Giants' season by joining your Portola Valley School Community for a fun day of baseball at Oracle Park Sunday, April 10th, when the San Francisco Giants face off against the Miami Marlins at 1:05 PM. A special section has been reserved on Giants' opening weekend for the families and faculty of PVSD – including Ormondale, Corte Madera and the school district offices.

The students enjoyed "Great Scott" and his assortment of fun STEAM activities last Thursday. Thank you to our volunteers: Olivia Batraski, Sangini Bedner, Jennifer Katz, Cassandra Pero, Amanda Smoot, and Brittany Zilka for helping the classes during their rotations. A big thank you as well to Laura Nicolls for getting this fun assembly booked, organizing the event and helping throughout the day!

literacy library need volunteers
Volunteers are needed to help organize and digitize the Literacy Library over the next several weeks. The Literacy Library is the collection of books sorted by reading level that students select for their book bags.
