Hops trial underway in Bass

Hops into Bass

Interested in the growing of Hops and the beer brewing process? Then this is the event for you. Saturday February 25th, 10am-2pm, $20 includes bus to Loch brewery and look at hops trial site in Bass. Click here for more information and to register.

Bass Coast Biolinks Workshops need your contribution

Bass Coast Shire Council is working on a plan to see how bush land could be linked in the future. This is your chance to contribute ideas at a workshop in your area this March. Click here​ to register your interest.

Bass Coast Lights up with Luminous Streets

This local event is part of 'The Edge of Us' project administered by the Bass Valley Landcare Group. Organic Horticulture day a great success

Over 40 people braved the unseasonal February weather last weekend to see a working trial site at the Phillip Island Community Orchard. Participants heard about the Grow lightly food co-operative from founder Gill Freeman, discussed soil health with expert Soil Scientist, Chris Alenson and all about the trial being maintained by site manager Adrian James. Bass Coast Arc - We need your help to make it a reality!

The Bass Coast Arc – “Community Access to Public Space” concept was the brainchild of passionate members of our community. The project aims to support local community group/s to work with land managers to improve public spaces. Click here to find out how your donation will be put towards this important work.

Lisa has returned from Maternity leave as the Training and Education Team Leader. Lisa will be working from Tuesday-Thursday focusing on the Environmental Detectives Schools Education program and Network Communications.
