Dear colleagues, friends and family,

The team here at Samoa Innovative Business Consultants hopes you are doing well as we head into the second quarter of 2021 and continue to adapt to the changing realities that surround us.  IBC has been fortunate to stay busy during these trying times.  Here's a little bit of what we have been up to and what Samoa IBC can possibly do for you.

Agrobiodiversity

Samoa IBC recently collaborated with The Alliance of Bioversity International and the International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) on an FAO/CGIAR-funded research project focused on the nexus between biodiversity for food and agriculture, climate change and human health in Samoa and Tonga.  Samoa IBC liaised with Alliance researchers based in Europe and Africa, and conducted over 20 consultations with local experts and five village-based consultations on how to improve such biodiversity in our farming systems.

Industrial Development

Samoa IBC is the support consultant for MCIL’s National Industrial Development Policy.  IBC liaises regularly with the overseas-based lead consultant and MCIL staff, and has conducted 40 stakeholder consultations with the public, private, and civil society sectors on how to stimulate equitable and sustainable economic growth in Samoa.
