October is upon our magical little forest of small joys, here in Yogi Pet's land!

 What a magical season this is!

So many surprises await for all of us!

 It always is such a delight to spend this season of change with the Yogi Petz! They so enjoy foraging for autumn goodies to decorate their tiny homes for autumn! They make it so cozy!

Of course it wouldn't be as special if you weren't part it too!

That is why we are also excited to announce that our first "real life" video, of Lil Mouse and I, is offered here as an invitation to all of you to come along and walk with us in the beautiful Norwegian country side as we enjoy the gifts of autumn together!  We are living quietly by a beautiful lake, surrounded by mountains and forests!

Our Lil summer cottage here is on the border of lake Mjosa in Norway, near Lillehammer. This is where Lil' Mouse's and my own ancestors are from! A lot of my inspiration comes from these forests and country side!  So much magic abounds at every corner! This is truly a land of Fairy tales, majestic forests, fjords and enchantment!

Walk with us, as we seek for the magic in everyday moments.  

Lil' Mouse, and his Lil'bear also insisted on sharing with you, the magical memories of the glorious summer we had here! Summer is far gone now but as this is our first video, we thought we would share with you the wonderful times we have had the past few months.

Here are small ways the rest of the Yogi Petz  enjoy the coziness of the season!

 Ladybug always enjoys a cup of her favorite brew. Especially when she gets too overwhelmed or anxious after a long day, she turns that moment into a little meditation. Cozy by the fire, she reminds herself:

Outside the wind is roaring and the leaves of our dear favorite tree are rustling...

"Come, little leaves," said the wind one day.
"Come o'er the meadows with me, and play'
Put on your dress of red and gold,—
Summer is gone, and the days grow cold."

Soon as the leaves heard the wind's loud call,
Down they came fluttering, one and all;
Over the brown fields they danced and flew,
Singing the soft little songs they knew.

"Cricket, good-by, we've been friends so long;
Little brook, sing us your farewell song,—
Say you are sorry to see us go;
Ah! you will miss us, right well we know."

"Dear little lambs, in your fleecy fold,
Mother will keep you from harm and cold;
Fondly we've watched you in vale and glade;
Say, will you dream of our loving shade?"

Dancing and whirling, the little leaves went;
Winter had called them, and they were content.
Soon fast asleep in their earthy beds,
The snow laid a coverlet over their heads.

"Don't stress over things you can't control or change."said the tree.

"You can't control everything but you can choose how to respond." he added.

That was a lesson Yogi Turtle held very close to his heart especially during these blustery times!

It actually was a welcomed reminder for all of us, for the tree you see was the wisest one of us all!

When I was a young boy 

I always went to the tree to find comfort.

I used to ask him: "How is it that you always remain so peaceful no matter what the seasons may be? How are you able to let go of your beautiful leaves and fruits so gracefully?" 

He replied gently, with a smile, that his true abundance was not his leaves or his fruits. That is why he could let them go so easily.

 His true abundance, he said, is the "infinite invisible" from which the fruits and leaves come from! That "infinite invisible" felt like an invincible summer to him, right there in his heart.

I found that the most intriguing!

"Can you help me find that treasure I asked him?"

He smiled as we hugged.

The tree's words stayed engraved in my heart and here is the little sketch I created in my small childhood journal, to remind me of the tree's beautiful words:

From that day on, we embarked, the Yogi Petz and I, on a quest, to discover that invincible summer!"
