Coronavirus Update #2

We hope that our new normal is going well and everyone is healthy! Since we are all following the social distancing guidance from our federal, state, and local governments for the foreseeable future, we are suspending the 3rd fee installment to Ridgewood Crew until we have a better idea of what our season will look like depending on school closures and further guidance from the federal/state governments and regatta sponsors. If you have already sent the 3rd installment in, you will receive a refund. Finance questions should be directed to Andy Hoy at [email protected].

Regatta Updates

Stotesbury Regatta - We received an update from The Stotesbury Regatta. They are hopeful that the pandemic will be under control by the Stotesbury regatta on May 15 & 16. They are continuing to plan for the regatta at this time, but based on any future guidance they are still evaluating options for the 2020 regatta and will make a final decision within the next 2 weeks.

SRAA Regatta - Information received from the SRAA National Regatta is that at this time they are still planning to hold the 2020 SRAA Regatta. They are continuing to monitor the situation and will be making weekly updates to their website as new information becomes available. They will come to a final decision in early May, in accordance with federal and local guidelines on whether the regatta will proceed.​

Coach Video Training

Daily workouts from Coach Boris will continue for you to do at home from Monday - Saturday. Additionally, we will be providing video capability between Coach Boris and rowers for real-time coaching (thanks to Audrey Darby)!


Coach Boris will send out the daily workout (for Wednesday, March 18) on Tuesday evening. The details below will also be provided. Since this is the first time using this technology, if there are connection problems please do the work out on your own.  
Wednesday, March 18 6:00pm Live Coaching Event on time. Do your warm up at 5:30pm, rowers must do the following @ 5:55pm:

3.  Once you have joined the conference, please MUTE yourself using onscreen options on lower left of your screen
