- Life after Graduation and the Following Steps
Graduation Preparation
Before Graduating, have a student look at what they want to do at least 1-2 years before graduation, such asÂ
- Finding interests they may haveÂ
- Career Opportunities that may exist
- Comparing schools from cost, programs, and other factors they may exist
-
Professional Organizations to interview, find a mentor, and learn more about an industryÂ
-
Scholarships that may exist as they may qualify for certain ones and not just focus on the ones that pay the most since every penny counts
-
Volunteering with organizations that can give them experience in or close to the field they choose
-
Public Speaking students may be scared or shy, but knowing that public speaking will be a factor if they want a job, in professional events, and more as it allows them to express themselves in a professional lightÂ
- Not feeling they need to major in a field they may not be interested in
Higher Education, Trade Schools, and the Military can help them to know that they may have endless opportunities.Â
Life after Graduation and the Following Steps
