Do you think it should be accessible for all? If you answered yes to any of these questions, please explore the pages of our February Newsletter to learn more about what is happening at Escuela Cooperativa de Sayulita.
Due to COVID, our wonderful teachers developed creative ways to continue a meaningful learning experience for everyone. They created learning packets for the families to take home when all the schools were closed. Families shared videos and photos from home, so the cooperative nature of the school would continue.
Now the school is fully re-opened. The teachers and children all wear masks and wash their hands throughout the day. The children do their best to keep them on; some do better than others. It's tough to convince three to five year olds to keep their masks on while climbing and jumping.
Our teachers invited a nutritionist to come to the school. She met with each family individually and provided advice on how to promote healthy eating habits and manage diets. She also created a monthly lunch menu to guide the families who provide hot lunches every day for the children.
