YOSEMITE COMMUNITY CLOSET
The 7th Grade trip to Yosemite is right around the corner! The week after Thanksgiving the class will spend five days in Yosemite, and parents are busy assembling gear. For some families, this gear is not in the budget, and for many families these items may only be used for this trip, so it seems a waste to purchase everything new.
GEAR: Hiking boots and waterproof athletic shoes, thermal layers, rain jackets, wool socks, hats and gloves and sleeping bags are all needed.
Do you have items you would like to BORROW for the trip?
We are hoping to match up needs and donations/loans. Please send over your needs and sizes to either Kate Cox ([email protected]) or Kim Zamboldi ([email protected]).
Do you have any of these items to DONATE?
We will have a box outside the CMS office starting next week until November 10th. This box will be for DONATE items only. The donate items will be loaned and/or given to families who are looking for items. Extra gloves, hats, etc will also be taken to Yosemite in case a student loses something. Anything left after the trip will be saved for next years trip and/or donated appropriately.
Do you have any of these items to LOAN?
Please use the Yosemite Closet sign up site: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/ 8050F4CACA62A1-yosemite or, if you prefer, you may email your loan items directly to Kim Zamboldi ([email protected])
Thank you so much!!

PV SCHOOLS FOUNDATION NEWS | |
DOH - Some of us Missed Donation Day!
But, we understand, October was a month full of distractions. So we're extending our Donation Day deadline to November 15th.
Our numbers are lagging and we need your help to fulfill our $900,000 promise to the District.
Your contribution to the Annual Campaign pays for an extra teacher per grade and classroom aids. It also pays for Spanish language instruction, art, music, and PE for all grades.
Without your help, we are at risk of loosing the additional staffing and enrichment classes that ensure our kids receive an outstanding education.
A donation of $2000 per student is suggested. But every donation makes a difference and is much appreciated.
Please help us get back on track!
