Team 7373

On Saturday, November 9th, Team 7373 competed in the second meet for the Etowah league. At this meet, the team participated in both mock judging and robot matches. Team 7373 received positive feedback on both their mock judging session and their engineering notebooks. In the robot matches, the team ended the day with a 4-2 record and held first place in the league.

Team 11364

Undeterred by four separate technical issues, Team 11364 persevered through a tough competition day to win two matches! They worked hard throughout the day to replace parts and overcome every type of challenge that came their way.

Robot Update

Team 7373

In preparation for Etowah Meet #4, Team 7373 has continued to improve both the hardware and software of their robot. Members of the team have continued to develop new hardware systems to improve the performance of the robot in the upcoming meet. Additionally, the team has developed a working autonomous program that ran for the first time on December 7. The members of Team 7373 were excited to compete in the final league meet of the season!

Team 11364

Team 11364 is currently focused on improving their consistency in driving on the field. Recently, they created the next iteration of their intake system which was previously a three-sided grabber. Now, the intake is a latch grabber which will improve consistency when picking up blocks and allow for a greater margin of error with intake placement.

On Monday, November 11, Eagle Robotics had the opportunity to put on an event for the kids at Ridenour Adventure Center, a local after school care center. Through a series of interactive stations taught by team members, the kids at Ridenour learned about everything from electrical systems to binary to hydraulic robots! Team members planned their stations with lots of activities and opportunities for the kids to take home their own creations such as toothbrush robots. This was a great event, and we are looking forward to partnering with Ridenour again in the future
