| CNCE NAV-LETTER March '19 Dear CNCE members and sailor friends, Last month's CNCE General Assembly elected a new Board , which strikes a perfect balance both in terms of previous and newly appointed Board administrators (4 new members & 4 previous Board members), as well as in terms of gender (4 ladies & 4 gentlemen). We look forward to a fruitful term and convey our warmest thanks to all outgoing members of the previous Board for their great contribution in making the CNCE a dynamic sailing club of enthusiastic sea lovers. CNCE Beginners' Course 2019 Starting end of April - register now! Join the Beginners' Course to get a taste of sailing on two different types of boats - two completely different sensations! - and get introduced to the main chapters of the sailing bible at our theory sessions. At the end, a party will be organised in Brussels to celebrate your introduction into the sailing world! Dates: The first theory session starts end of April. Blueone racing programme 2019 The CNCE Racing Team will take part in both offshore regattas across the English Channel and inshore/coastal races in Zeeland. If you are up to join some action on BlueOne, fill in the booking form to enquire and receive further information from our experienced skippers about the following events: 28 May - 2 June: Ostend - Ramsgate Regatta 27-30 June: Delta Weekend 7-14 July: Nieuwpoort Channel Race 29 August – 1 September: Breskens Sailing Weekend choose your race & register! SB20 Keelboat training and racing in Cascais (Portugal) 9-12 May 2019 Four days of sailing training & racing in the famous and fast SB20 keelboats in the Cascais bay. Former Olympic or highly qualified sailors will introduce you to the exhilaration of fast downwind sailing and racing in a safe boat that is easy to manoeuvre. Participants should preferably have some sailing experience. Enquire & Book now! Rallye des Belges 7-10 June 2019 Every year a CNCE crew of five participates in the Rally. The trip includes racing against other crews of other Belgian sailing clubs and, of course, partying on the islands of the beautiful archipelago of Glénans and enjoying French cuisine! Those unable to participate in the whole cruise will have the possibility to disembark or join midway, on 20 July.
