COVID-19 TESTING OPTIONS FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

PVSD recommends, but does not require, testing for students attending in-person school and their families every two weeks. Third party testing resources are listed below as a courtesy. PVSD does not provide testing and we cannot guarantee access to testing or answer questions about services provided by third parties.

Curative provides free testing for San Mateo County children over 5 as well as adults. https://curative.com/sites/8893#9/37.5424/-122.2903

THANK YOU!

COMMON GROUND SPEAKER SERIES

DESIGNING YOUR FAMILY LIFE - Reframing College (and Your Kids!)

Featuring Dave Evans and Kathy Davies

Stanford Life Design Lab

Thurs Jan 14

7pm–8:15pm PST

Online Zoom Webinar: Register to Attend (Registration closes at 5pm the day of the event)

Dave Evans, co-founder of Stanford’s Life Design Lab, and Kathy Davies, its managing director, will guide parents through the design thinking process to inspire our pre-college kids to confidently design their own futures in a changing world. They will share design thinking strategies that will help our students reframe thinking, problem solve like designers and apply these strategies to planning college (and beyond).

Mark your calendars for Common Ground’s new Winter/Spring Season Lineup.

As a reminder, videos of prior Common Ground events are available on a password protected page on the Common Ground’s website.  Please contact Anne Fazioli-Khiari ([email protected]) or Teri Wolf ([email protected]) for access.

ORMONDALE News

january return-to-school schedule

Week of January 4th - Jan 8th: All Ormondale students will stay at home and do Distance Learning. No students will be on-campus.

Week of January 11th: All hybrid students return to campus.

PHOTO DAY

Mark your calendars! School photos will be taken on Tuesday, January 12. Each class will be assigned a time to go in and have individual photos taken.  Due to COVID-19 restrictions we will unfortunately not be able to take class photos as we have in the past. Instead, class photos will be more traditional in nature with all of the children’s photos appearing on one sheet (old school style like when we were kids). PVVA students will be able to come in that day to have their photos taken as well. As we get closer to the date, we will set up appointments for PVVA students to come in to have their photo taken.  More information to come.
