You are invited to join us for an acoustic healing journey to relax the body, calm the mind the restore balance. We’ll introduce you to the science and history of sound baths and the Chakra system. Then, after a few gentle yoga movements, you’ll be guided through a meditation on the Chakras as you are immersed in the rich, resonant sounds of crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes and drum.  

Sounds baths are an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli and to gain perspective on what’s going on within your body and mind. The soothing sounds and vibrations allow your brain waves to slow, shifting from an active state to a resting state, tapping into the parasympathetic nervous system, which slows your brain waves, lowers your blood pressure, and allows for healing.

Carrie ran her first (and only) marathon on July 25th, 2020, ALONE on the Wobegone Trail due to in-person races being canceled and there was a heat advisory that day. Carrie says, "An earthy-side angel named, Anne, (you might know her 😉) showed up at mile 22 with a bag of ice and I honestly don't know fi I would have been able to finish the last 4 miles without that assistance from her. Yoga Melrose has the most amazing, supportive teachers and students-in & out of the studio!" Well, Carrie, we super do love and appreciate your kind words! 🏃🏻‍♀️ CONGRATULATIONS, Marathon Finisher!
