Happy Monday, Ranger Families!

It was wonderful to see so many of you at the Halloween Parade last month. It turned out to be a PERFECT fall day. It was so fun having the Ranger there to lead the parade! Now we look forward to Thanksgiving and I am so thankful for all of the awesome families, students, and staff at Pine Ridge!

A new Ranger Tradition begins this year with our first Ranger’s GIVE Kids’ Gift Fair taking place November 26-30. Your child will be receiving a very special gift…the joy of GIVING. Ranger’s GIVE Gift Fair will be an opportunity for students to purchase holiday/birthday gifts or tokens of appreciation for their loved ones. We believe this will be a highly memorable experience for our little Rangers! Every gift is inexpensive, with kid-friendly pricing ranging from $0.25 to $10. Watch for more information coming home next week!

Since the emphasis of our gift fair will be on GIVING, we will also be holding our annual coat/hat/glove drive during this week. Please sent gently worn items in a bag labeled “coat drive” to school with your child or drop your items off in the main office. These donations will be delivered to our sister school, Sherwood Park Global Studies Academy, a GRPS elementary, in early December. This is the second year that Pine Ridge will be partnering with Sherwood Park. Thank you for supporting Ranger’s GIVE!

We will need a lot of volunteers during the gift fair and we also have opportunities for you to help in the art room during your child’s art time- check out the sign up links below. Don’t forget to scroll down to find additional PTO updates and upcoming events!

Wishing your family a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Warmly,

Britt Metzger

PTO President
