The Amplify Team Spring and Summer AMP TALKs If you didn't have the chance to attend yet, AMP Talks is a series of events with influential and successful speakers in the music and technology industries, hosted by Amplify. At the end of April , we had the pleasure to host two of Amplify's co-founders, David Stenmarck, also co-founder of Epidemic Sound and Andreas Liffgarden, co-founder of Soundtrack Your Brand. We discussed their growth journeys with the two companies and got some great advice on starting out in the music industry. You can read all about it here. We had a great start of this summer hosting a breakfast talk with Mark Dennis, Managing Director of Sony Music Entertainment Sweden and Ernst Nathorst Böös, CEO & Founder of Propellerhead Software. We had the opportunity to hear some predictions for the future of the music industry from the two different actors. You can read all about it here. LIVEHACKS #4 HOSTED AT THE AMPLIFY VILLA Stagecast has hosted another edition of Livehacks - a regularly arranged hackathon event where Coders, Designers and Makers come together in Stockholm, Sweden to revolutionize the way we experience live entertainment. The Royal College of Music in Stockholm (KMH) is now accepting applications for a full-time position as a Professor of Entrepreneurship in Music at the Department of Music and Media Production.The prerequisites for music and music performance are in constant change. Digitalization has changed conditions for the creation of music and the possibilities for distribution of music. Also, the decreasing number of permanent positions necessitates successful entrepreneurship. As a response to these challenges, KMH has initiated an institutional collaboration with the Stockholm School of Economics in order to build research on Entrepreneurship in Music. Academic interested in music and entrepreneurship?
The Royal College of Music in Stockholm (KMH) is now accepting applications for a full-time position as a Professor of Entrepreneurship in Music at the Department of Music and Media Production.The prerequisites for music and music performance are in constant change. Digitalization has changed conditions for the creation of music and the possibilities for distribution of music. Also, the decreasing number of permanent positions necessitates successful entrepreneurship.
