On April 21st Lucy the Rescue Dog was contacted by the Middlehope Veterinary Hospital about a dog, Boujee, needing lifesaving emergency surgery. They told us the owner was financially struggling because of the coronavirus. Of course we could not let an otherwise healthy dog be euthanized because of financial hardship. We granted what we could and the dog had a very successful surgery. Without our help the dog may not be alive today. It's an every day reminder that we need to help as many helpless pets as humanely possible. We can only do this because of our loyal supporters. We are grateful for your continued support during these unprecedented times. | |
